Someone walked in my yard today, to show kindness to one of the community cats. Lots of people smile at them at say sweet things to them when they walk by. But there has been a lot of violence towards them from immediate neighbors. This was someone from the house on the other side of mine. One of these cats let him pet him! I can’t express how nice it is to see these cats appreciated and safe.
I am going to take it as a sign of easier, safer times ahead for these animals. At least for the moment I can sleep thinking someone else nearby is kind to animals
