A sweet domestic blue comes around in the mornings. Sometimes he doesn’t show up for a few days so I don’t worry right away when I don’t see him. I was a little worried this morning.
But… this afternoon there he was! He wouldn’t come near me though. He usually rubs himself on my legs first thing. But he was keeping his distance today. So I looked at him and he has a fancy tipped ear!!
This means that someone in the area loves animals. There is someone in this neighborhood who loved him enough to get to know him a little, get him trapped, take home to get neutered and maybe vaccinated, and bring him back to his home❤️
It’s so wonderful!
It also means that although I am isolated in a space where there are animal haters, not far from here there are people who love animals, too!
That’s a big deal for me after these years of protecting me and the animals here from violence, abuse, and bullying on my own.
And a new life for Char! He will feel more relaxed. He might decide to settle down a little. Pick a home to stay at more. Apparently he has choices😃
I hope this is a turning point for all of us here.
